REVISION OF CODE OF PRACTICE FOR SAFE USE OF MOBILE CRANES
The Code of Practice for Safe Use of Mobile Cranes (“CoP”)
is issued by the Commissioner for Labour under section 7A of the
Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance, Cap. 59. It provides
practical guidance to the industry as to how to use mobile cranes safely
and properly with a view to assisting the duty holders in preventing
accidents. This CoP can be downloaded from the following link:

2. The Labour Department is revising the CoP with a view to
providing more practical and clearer guidance on safe use of mobile
cranes. The revision includes, among others, precautions to ensure the
stability of cranes such as the requirements in outrigger beams’
extension and mats/timber blockings for supporting the floats of the
outriggers, etc. The draft revised CoP, with major amendments
highlighted in yellow, is attached for your reference.

《安全使用流動式起重機工作守則》的修訂
《安全使用流動式起重機工作守則》（下稱：「工作守則」）由勞工處處長根據《工廠及工業經營條例》(第59章)第7A條發出。本守則旨在向業界就如何安全及正確使用流動式起重機提供實務指引，以協助責任履行人防止意外發生。該工作守則可在以下連結下載:

勞工處正修訂該工作守則，以提供更實務及更清晰的安全使用流動式起重機指引。該修訂(除其他事項外)包括確保起重機穩定性的預防操施，例如：支重腳撐橫樑伸展及承托支重腳撐浮盤的底墊/木墊塊的要求等。現附上草擬修訂的工作守則供參考，其中主要的修訂部分以黃色標示。
